VMworld 2014 – See you there

Wow!  Its that time again already!  The VMworld 2014 content catalog has just been released.  Its going to be a busy one for me this year for sure! I am extremely looking forward to VMworld 2014, this will be my first VMworld in my new role as vCloud Hybrid Service Technical Marketing!  This year I get to talk about lots of cool cloud features, and what you can do with vCloud Hybrid Service!  I cant wait. Here is my VMworld Barcelona Schedule? I am a bit late posting this, I have noticed most other people have done this a while ago. I have two sessions I am presenting at VMworld Barcelona, and the times and dates are listed below. VMworld day 1 recap

VMworld 2013 recap – Day 1

The day began with meeting up with Aidan Dalgleish and Kamau Wanguhu at the Hilton lobby, with us putting last minute changes to our slide deck for session VSVC7371.  Well mainly it was Aidan being the OCD expert he is putting last minute changes to slide deck.  We went straight to the speaker lounge and updated the presentation. Keynote After grabbing breakfast it was time to head to the keynote.  This was going to be the first keynote Pat Gelsinger presented.  I enjoyed this keynote, it was a different angle to what we have seen in the past from Paul Maritz, Pat poked fun at himself, showing off pictures of him as a dragon slayer among others.  It was good fun.  Then the moment came in the keynote where Pat announced the general availability of vSphere 5.5 and I was able to publish two of my articles I have had […]

VMworld 2013 – My schedule and sessions

::::::::::: UPDATE ::::::::::: I can now confirm that Aidan Dalgleish and Kamau Wanguhu will be presenting VSVC7371 – Architecting a Software-Defined-Data Center alongside me.  This is awesome news and I am really excited about this.  Two of the smartest architects I know, and also really easy to present with. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Its been a crazy couple of weeks getting prepared for VMworld 2013. I have had a session added, found out one of my sessions has been added to Barcelona, and received my booth duty schedule for US. Things are in top gear and motoring along nicely.
