To begin with, this post has nothing to do with Virtualization or technology in any way but I felt the need to publish my thoughts on this special football player. Former England striker Michael Owen is to retire from football at the end of the season. Greatest Euro moments played out by lego!
I know this isn’t the usual topic on my site, however it is something I have a passion for. With the Euro 2012 Championship starting on Friday 8th June (tomorrow), I thought this would be a fitting tribute. I know a few people who will find this particularly funny (@vmackem @andrewsharrock and @vinf_net are a few that spring to mind). I found the video shared below on YouTube and it is the Greatest Euro championship moments played out by lego characters. It has everything from Gaza’s wonder goal, Ronaldo’s cry baby antics and of course who could forget The wolly with the brolly!! Hope you enjoy…
Looking for players – North East England vFooty (vFootball, vSoccer)
David Owen aka @vMackem and myself are trying to organise 5 or 6 a side football game each week in the North East of England. We will be looking to play somewhere between Middlesbrough and South Shields. If anyone is interested in playing either ping us on twitter or leave a comment on this post. Once we have enough numbers we will vote on the location (based on the majorities location). We will also hold a North East vBeers afterwards as well, to finish off the game in traditional style 🙂
