VMware VMworld vCloud Air must see sessions

VMware VMworld vCloud Air must see sessions

Its coming!  VMworld Barcelona is coming soon.  So soon in fact it actually starts on Sunday.  Wow, I can hardly believe it.  Still feels like VMworld USA was last week. This will be my last VMworld Barcelona working in the vCloud Air public cloud business unit, before I transition over to my new role in the Cloud Service Provider BU.  You can read about that in a seperate post. VMware vCloud Air has some awesome sessions this year and I would actively encourage all of you to see these sessions if you can get in. The highlighted sessions are based on vCloud Air’s core use case focus of Data Center Extension, Replacement and Disaster Recovery.  These sessions range from 200 level through to 400 level advanced techincal. VMware vCloud Air VMworld sessions available

VMware vCloud Air VMworld sessions available Now that VMworld has passed, I thought it would be a good opportunity to share the presentations that I gave. VMworld was incredibily busy time again this year, and the interest in VMwares’ vCloud Air continues to grow. One of my sessions talked exactly about that, the journey to cloud, and how there is a lot of similarities between the virtualization journey and the cloud journey. This session was my particular favourite to present this year. I was honoured to be asked to present the vCloud Air Spotlight session. You can watch the full […]

VMworld Barcelona – Where I will be

A few people have contacted me on twitter recently asking what sessions I am presenting at VMworld Barcelona 2015. This post is to provide a quick list of the sessions, and date and times of those sessions. Before we get into what where and when my sessions will be though. Lets have a quick re-cap on some of the things that happened at VMworld 2015 USA. Also watch a re-cap with Jay Marshall (who forgets he no longer works at VMware) and Gary Coburn talking about the Google vCloud Air partnership. and of course, no vCloud Air recap would be great without George Kobar having an appearance.  Watch George talk about Microsoft Sharepoint on vCloud Air. Here is my list of sessions: Session Number Session Title Abstract Date/Time EXPERT SESSION Disaster Recovery and Object Storage with Expert – David Hill Meet the experts session.  Come along and talk about vCloud […]
