Silicon Valley VMUG here I come

I have been asked to present at the upcoming Silicon Valley VMUG covering the topic of VMware vCHS, specifically around Disaster Recovery. The conference is scheduled for April 23 2014. You can register by clicking here. San Jose Convention Center 150 West San Carlos Street San Jose, CA 95113 Living around the Silicon Valley area and getting to present at the VMUG is one of the really cool experiences you dont always expect to happen. I already know a few people from the community who are attending, but will be great to meet new people and see old friends. Please don’t hesitate to come and talk to me. UK National VMUG

UK National VMUG – Call for Papers

Simon Gallagher, one of the organisers of the UK VMUG sent an email out today asking for people to considering submitting “papers” for the UK National VMUG. Personally I think this is a great idea. I have enjoyed my trips to the UK VMUG and found the caliber of people at these events to be of the highest grade, with the sessions being as good as what you find at VMworld. This is a summary of Simon’s email: Hello friend of LonVMUG..(!), We (the LonVMUG committee) are putting together plans for the national UK VMUG on November 21st in Solihull, Brum (National Motorcycle museum). I will be presenting at the London VMUG on January 26th 2012, alongside my colleague Aidan Dalgleish (@aidersd) We will be presenting the session Chris Colotti and I gave at VMworld.
