DvFilter module is not up on the host

Working at a customer site last week, we were looking at deploying vCloud Networking and Security App into the test environment. Sounds simple right? Well, when we went to install App, we had the error DvFilter module is not up on the host. As you can see by the screen shot below After a little bit of digging around, we discovered the following KB article. http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1028003 This issue can occur due to a previous incomplete installation or due to problems during uninstallation. To resolve this issue: Try the installation/uninstallation from the vShield plugin in vCenter Server. This provides detailed events when the installation fails. Q. When I configure vCNS Edge HA, what is the “Management IP” referring to? A. HA Management IP is the IP Address used for communication between the active and standby Edge. By default, the user does not need to worry about it (we call it zero-configuration), but the user has the option to explicitly specify it (and its interface). As you know, the IP Address is shared between the active and standby Edge, except this HA Management IP, which should be different. Q. If I enable HA, will it reboot the current Edge device during the installation of the new HA Edge device? A. With all the new changes in vCloud Networking and Security version 5.1, deploying an edge device needs a little understanding. I have written this blog article to walk you through the steps involved in deploying an edge device, and what to look for when you have deployed it. The following steps show how to deploy a vCloud Networking and Security edge device through the vCloud Networking and Security Manager.
